Bruel & Kjaer Sound Intensity Analyzer Type 2134
The Bruel & Kjaer Sound Intensity Analyzing System, Type 3360, is comprised of this Sound Intensity Analyzer, Type 2134, the Sound Intensity Probe, Type 3519 and the Display Unit 4715. The 3360 system allows sound intensity to be measured over a wide frequency range (3.2 Hz. - 10 kHz.) using a two microphone technique. For sound pressure measurments the frequency range is from 1.5 Hz. - 20 kHz. (center frequencies). The measurments are in real time and the analyzed signal can be displayed in octaves and third-octaves. The system is almost entirely digital in construction and operation is based on digital filtering, detection and averaging techniques. Data may be averaged either linearly or exponentially with a constant averaging time across all channels. Exponential averaging, with a constant confidence limit are also available. Display of the final spectrum is on the 11" calibrated screen of Display Unit 4175. The 2134 contains memories enabling spectra to be compared and has full read-in/read-out facilities. The Sound Intensity Analyzer we have featured here is in excellent condition, and is complete with all documentation, including operations manuals and detailed service manuals.
